Background:<\/strong>\u00a0 I am currently a private math tutor specializing in Loudoun and Fairfax County, Virginia, although tutoring through Zoom technology allows for location to not be much of a factor anymore.\u00a0 Recently, I taught Pre-Calculus and Geometry at Saint John Bosco School in Potomac Falls, VA.\u00a0 \u00a0I have been employed as either a mathematics teacher, private tutor, or homebound instructor in Loudoun County since 2007 (including Harmony Intermediate School and Tuscarora High School), on top of a 20+ year career in telecommunications and defense contracting. \u00a0I am currently focusing on private tutoring, homebound instruction, and free-lance training. I believe that supplementing a student’s classroom math instruction with one-on-one help is a normal, and in many cases, necessary, part of a high school student’s education. I will tutor any public, private, or home-schooled student in Loudoun or Fairfax County preparing for or in a high-school level math course (Algebra 1 through AP Calculus AB). \u00a0I currently have an active post-graduate teaching license in the State of Virginia with an endorsement in Mathematics.<\/p>\n
